Are you about to fly from Brussels or the other way around – to the Belgian capital? If so, it is likely you are going to fly with Brussels Airlines.

Let us find out how to check in with this popular carrier.

Brussels Airlines: online check-in

Forget the airport queues! Simply select „check-in“ on the homepage of Brussels Airlines, choose your departure airport, enter your family name and your booking reference/e-ticket number. This option is available from 24h prior to the departure up to 1 hour before departure.

There is a lot of things you can do online: pick your seat, print your boarding card or change your contact info and meal.

Brussels Airlines: mobile check-in

The main difference lies in the fact that you receive your boarding card in the form of a 2D barcode.

While it is not at every airport that you can scan a 2D barcode, you can still check-in using your phone pretty much everywhere. What you have to do on some airport is to reprint your boarding card at the counter. More info at the official website of Brussels Airlines.

The check-in times may depend on where you travel. In the case of Brussels Airlines flights departing from Brussels Airport the latest check-in time for economy passengers is 70 minutes before departure.
