Is the name of the campaign being launched by Tourism Queensland, Tiger Airways and Tourism Tropical North Queensland. New service between Melbourne – Cairns is starting this weekend. The fares are now available in an opening sale for as low as $98.95. This new route is an answer to growing popularity of the Tropics among Aussies. Domestic travel plays a key role here with 1.4 million visiting the region in the year ending June 2010.
Third Australian base at Avalon Airport
The official launch of the airline's third Australian base will take place on 9th November. Three new aircraft will soon be delivered to operate from this base. This is a great news for the Melbourne region bringing more jobs, more tourists and lower ticket prices for the passengers.
